How it works

Thermal weed control, or killing weeds with hot water, is based on transferring energy to the plant and root. Water is one of the best natural energy carriers and gravity ensures maximum connectivity to deliver maximum damage.

While air is another energy carrier, hot air rises by nature, making steam methods weaker and much less effective than our hot water weed control systems. Likewise, foam is much more susceptible to the elements and cannot be applied as effectively in windy conditions.

All hot water weed control machines kill weeds with 100% hot water by delivering an efficient low pressure treatment at 98°C. This destroys the cellular structure of the weed to kill off the plant, which is worn down further by each treatment to eventually kill the root after around 3 passes on average, however, moss and algae can be wiped out after just one treatment.
